the loop or: abandoning places
i cannot believe it! how long ago i have been writing my last entry here....i myself hate all those abandoned places out there - in the blog universe. they are places of disappointment, unfullfilled expectations, wishes that do not come true. and then i myself am just doing completely the same thing. it is hard to get a routine for me in posting, and photographing, and being thoughtful about the small little things in life that i want to write and think and remember about. that is kind of sad. but: i do not give up. i try another round. and start again. it is spring - and the time of the strawberries again. after a period being "temporarily closed": sweetstrawberryfields is open again!

eis fieber
in holland ist das eisfieber ausgebrochen: zum ersten mal seit zehn (oder 12?) jahren sind flüsse, seen und grachten gefroren und jung und alt tummelt sich am eis....

T. hat dieses Kinderbuch entdeckt, von 1947, mit Illustrationen von Franziska Themerson. Ein echter Fall für unsere "Schatzkiste". Bin total verliebt. Bald noch mehr....
